Varsity Girls Basketball (All Students)

The Orchard Park Varsity Girls Basketball Team advanced to the Sectional Championship for the 3rd time in 5 years with a semi final win over Lockport last night 55-41. The Lady Quakers held onto a 2 point lead at the end of the 3rd quarter before exploding on an 18-6 run in the fourth quarter to win. Senior Captain Leah Harrigan led the offense from the point breaking pressure and added 3 assists and 2 points. Rachael Major played smothering defense of the leagues leading scorer to limit her

Boys Varsity Basketball (All Students)

The Boys Varsity Basketball team is playing in the Class AA Semi-finals tonight at Buffalo State College Sports Arena at 8:15 PM vs. Jamestown. Come out and support the boys as they look to advance to the sectional championship game this upcoming Saturday afternoon.

PULSE (All Students)

PULSE wants to publish YOU! If you're a writer or an artist, get your poetry, stories, art, and photography ready, and submit it to PULSE for publication in this year's literary magazine. Use the folders in your English classroom or submit online. Check your school email for more info, or see Ms. Perillo in 313.

science club (All Students)

Attention all students- Ellicott Road Elementary School is looking for high school student volunteers to help at their Science Night on Thursday, March 19. You’ll help kids do science activities. It will be on Thurs. March 19th from 5:45 until 8:00 pm at Ellicott. There's a sign-up sheet outside of Room 160. You can get volunteer hours or even senior hours. See Mrs. Collins in Room 160 with any questions. Outreach members can sign up in classroom if they prefer.

PTO (All Students)

The HS PTO will be holding fundraising nights at local restaurants from March through May to benefit Post Prom. 100% of the proceeds will benefits this drug and alcohol free event for seniors and their dates following Prom. This Monday, March 9th, from 4-9pm, Pie-O-Mine and Greens will give to the Post Prom fundraiser if you mention this add.

class of 2022 (Sophomores)

Attention Sophomore homeroom reps: there is a homeroom rep meeting on Wednesday March 4. Please attend @ 2pm in room 256

STAP Comm (All Students)

Attention all Homeroom Representatives: In order to receive a Certificate of Outstanding Participation You must attend an Evening STAP Comm Meeting If you have not done so already, please sign up to attend an upcoming meeting. Sign up outside of Room 163 (Mrs. Rominger)

Chess Club (All Students)

Interested in playing Chess? Come help organize the OPHS CHESS CLUB Thursday, March 5 Room 360 2:00 pm Everyone is welcome, beginners to experts! See Dr. Rominger in Room 360 with questions

School Counselors (All Students)

ECMC is offering a Summer Youth Internship Program for students interested in health-related careers. Admission to the program is very competitive and only 100 applicants are selected. Completed applications must be received by ECMC by 4 pm on Friday, March 27th. For more information and an application, please see Mrs. Stahl in the House 1 office.

Unified bowling (All Students)

Congratulations to the Unifed bowling team for getting third place at the Tournament on Monday. A special Congratulations to Olivia Kirk for being Named Orchard Park Character athlete. The first season of Unified bowling was a great success thanks to the amazing athletes. This truly was a dream team.
