Attention all juniors and seniors of the Roaring 20s: The English Department has secured a PRIVATE SCREENING for the first 100 Orchard Park students who wish to see the premiere performance of The Great Gatsby at a discounted price of $8 for next Friday May 10. So old sports, if you wish to participate in this amazing event please bring $8 as soon as possible to your English teacher, or Mr. Spillman in room 313, or Ms. Lullo in room 314. The ACT will be offered at Orchard Park High School on Saturday, June 8th. The deadline for registering for the exam is on Friday, May 3rd. College bound juniors are encouraged to take this exam. Go to www.actstudent.org to register and see your counselor if you have any questions.

Attention students taking the SATs here this Saturday: Please arrive at the Baker entrance between 7:30 and 7:45 am. Remember to bring your photo ID, your admission ticket, #2 pencils, and your calculator. You will not be admitted without both your photo ID and the admission ticket. Cell phones are not allowed in the testing rooms, so please do not bring one. The test is quite long, so you may bring a small snack to eat during breaks. Good luck!

Attention seniors - Dragonfly scholarship applications are now available at www.dragonflyscholarshipfund.org. Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded and one is specific to a wrestler. Deadline is May 11, 2013.

Attention male members of the senior class! Self nomination is now open for the Scalp and Blade scholarship, which recognizes students with high academics, excellent personal characteristics, and outstanding leadership qualities. Students should be well rounded in all aspects of scholastic life and in the community. This scholarship is worth in total $10,000. See Mrs. Linder in House 3 by May 10th to be considered.

DARE (All Students)

Officer Govenettio and Lieutenant Fitzgerald are looking for responsible, involved and scholastically motivated JUNIORS and SENIORS to volunteer to be D.A.R.E. Rolemodels for this semester. You are required to attend a brief mandatory meeting on May 7th at 2:00 PM in Media 3. Please consider helping influence the lives of our 5th grade D.A.R.E. students.
