Pep Club (All Students)

There will be a Pep Club meeting Wednesday, September 18 at 2 pm in room 263 (Mr. Botticelli's room) to help plan the Homecoming activities. This a great way to get involved and it's a blast. Don't miss this meeting!

Band (All Students)

Attention students who drove to school today: Cars must be out of the Baker lot by 4:00 today, except you may park in the first four rows closest to Baker Rd. Plan ahead and avoid a referral.

Community Education (All Students)

The next 5-Hour Pre-Licensing course will be held on Monday, September 23rd and Tuesday, September 24th. You must attend both nights from 6:00-8:30pm. Register at the Community Education Office.

CAC (All Students)

All Cancer Awareness Club members should meet in Room 216 at 2:00 on Friday, September 20th to help decorate the Baker Foyer and vote for officers. Bring your Homecoming decorations!

Orchard Park Educational Outreach (All Students)

The first Outreach meeting will be on Wednesday September 18th in room 362. New members are always welcome. See Mr.Hafner in room 362 with any questions.

French Honor Society (All Students)

The French Honor Society is sponsoring a bake sale after school on Thursday and Friday outside the Aud and in the cafeteria. Delicious cupcakes, brownies and cookies will be on sale. Buy a snack while you wait in line to buy a Homecoming ticket. Come one, come all!

NHS (Seniors)

Attention National Honor Society Members If you are helping at Open House this week, please see Mrs SUllivan in House 2 as you arrive THursday evening for your assignment for the evening. Please sign up if you have not done so as yet. Remember that we have a meeting on Wednesday at 2:00

Sophomore Class (Sophomores)

Attention all sophmore homeroom reps and any one interested in helping with HOMECOMING!!!!! Come to room 256 Thursday and friday after school. See Mrs Lexner or an officer with any questions!!

Educational Outreach (All Students)

The first meeting for Educational Outreach is today at 2:00 in room 362. Come find out how you can make a difference in our local and global communities. New members are always welcome. Please see Mr. Hafner in room 362 with any questions.

DECA (All Students)

Attention DECA members! There will be a Bookstore Training session after school this Friday for any employees who still need to be trained. Meet in Room 121 at 2:00. Thank you!

Masterminds (All Students)

Attention ALL Students: If you have a love of game shows like Jeopardy or Millionaire or love trivia and would like to compete on an academic team as a Quaker, then OP Masterminds might be for you. Varsity and JV spots are open to all grades. Our first meeting is Wednesday, September 18 at 2:00 in room 360. Any questions? See Dr. Rominger in room 360.

Guidance (Juniors)

Attention Juniors. Sign-ups for this year's PSAT are before school from Friday, September 13th through Friday, September 20th in the auditorium. You may also sign up after school on Friday the 13th and Monday the 16th ONLY. You must present a valid school ID along with $20 in order to sign up. Please see Mr. Behm with questions.

Boys Hockey (All Students)

Attention to all student-athletes interested in playing high school boys hockey this winter, there will be a PARENT meeting on Wednesday, September 18th at 7:00 PM in the Commons.

Students who are considering applying to a United States Service Academy or R.O.T.C. program are invited to attend the Western New York Service Academy Day and meet representatives from the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), U.S. Naval Academy (Annapolis), U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, as well as Army, Navy, and Air Force R.O.T.C. Homecoming tickets will be on sale all this week after school in the auditorium. This is the ONLY time you can buy a ticket. Please don't wait until Thursday and Friday. Tickets are $15 and you CANNOT purchase a ticket without CURRENT OPHS student ID.

Girls Varsity Tennis (All Students)

Our very own Girls varsity tennis Team has been on quite roll with a 5-0 record: beating tough teams such as East Aurora, Williamsville North and East, Clarence, and Lancaster. Our girls posted a 5-0 varsity win and 10-1 team win over Lancaster yesterday. Way to go lady Quakers! Come out to cheer them on today as they play nichols on our courts.
