Attention students who drove to school today: Cars must be out of the Baker lot by 3:30 today, except you may park in the first four rows closest to Baker Rd. Plan ahead and avoid a referral.

Destination Imagination (Co-Curricular)

Attention students: Why D.I.? Or what's Destination Imagination all about, and how can you find out about teams forming at the High School? Come to the organizational meeting of Destination Imagination at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 9th in Room 261. Or see Mrs. Baker in Room 261 if you have questions.

Guidance (All Students)

Mark your calendars-Fall College Night will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. Students of all grade levels are encouraged to attend to get the most recent information on the college application process.

Varsity Bowling (All Students)

Attention anyone interested in tryingout for the Boys or Girls Varsity Bowling Teams: nThere will be a mandatory informational meeting on Tuesday, October 8 at 2pm in room 154. If you cannot make the meeting see Mr. Biondo if you're trying out for the boys team and Mr. Himes if your trying out for the girls team. If you have questions about details of the meeting see Mr. Biondo

Health Office (Sports)

For student athletes participating in winter sports who need a physical, physicals will be given on Friday October 11th and Tuesday October 22nd from 2:00-2:30 in the Health Office. Physicals must be up-to-date in order to participate. Forms are available in the Health Office.

Student Activities (Co-Curricular)

Attention anyone planning on attending the next Parking Orientation meetings this month. The next meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 9th in room 162. The other meeting this month will take place on Wednesday, October 30th in room 154.

Celebrate the Second Annual Manufacturing Day, October. 4, 2013. U.S. manufacturers are encouraged to showcase the importance of manufacturing to the nation's economy and to draw attention to the many rewarding high-skill jobs in manufacturing fields. In honor of this day, the OPHS technology department will have the 3D printer in operation and on display in room 114 along with other high tech class projects. Feel free to drop by during the day.

Varsity Golf (Sports)

The Orchard Park Varsity Golf Team; 2013 ECIC Division Champions, defeated West Seneca West yesterday at Harvest Hill Golf Course. This is their first undefeated season since 2004. Yesterday, the Quakers set an away match, Harvest Hill school record; shooting a team score of 228 - that's 2-over-par per player. Erich Spitz and Jack Devic led the way shooting even par.
