Guidance (Seniors)

A representative of Onondaga will be here to meet with interested students at 9:00 today. RIT will be represented at 11:30. Fredonia and D'Youville will be here Tuesday.

House 1 (All Students)

Underclassmen Photo Retakes will take place in the auditorium on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 7:00am-3:00pm. If you need to have your picture retaken please go to the auditorium during one of your free periods, or before or after school. Staff may also have their pictures retaken on October 16th if needed.

Varsity Gymnastics (Sports)

The girls varsity gymnastics team competed in their most important meet of the season last night against Sweet Home and Kenmore West. The meet was a "nail-biter" and the girls finished in 1st place by 4 tenths of a point. Their constant hard work and ability to work together as a strong team currently has them in first place in their division. Please congratulate the girls on the team! They definitely deserve it :}

soccer (Sports)

On Wednesday, the girls jv soccer team defeated lancaster 4 to 0. Scoring goals for the quakers were rachel k, emily h, julia s, and annie maude d. Assisting on the goals were skylar s, julia s, and anniemaude d. Strong defensive play by morgan r, ryan i, hailey b regan s, and katherine d helped goalie alyssa l record her 10th shut out of the season. Way to go ladies!

Guidance (Seniors)

Attention Seniors! The Scott Krueger Memoral Scholarship applications are now available in the House 3 office. This is a $40,000 scholarship awarded to 2 Orchard Park seniors that have a 90 or higher GPA, 4 units of science and math, and have participated in a high school sport for at least one full season. The deadline is November 17th, 2014. See Mrs. Linder with questions.

Hockey (All Students)

Attention all girls trying out for the Girls' Varsity hockey team. School physicals are on Tuesday, October 14. All athletes must have a current school physical and their paperwork into the High School Health Office by Monday, October 20th in order to tryout. Tryouts will begin in November. Check the athletic website for first day tryout information.

Yearbook (Seniors)

Attention Seniors: Your senior quotes and senior I Wills must be submitted online by Friday, October 10th to be included in the yearbook. You should have received instructions for online submission in homeroom. If you need instructions or if you have any questions about the process, please see Mrs. Sall in Room 363 or Mrs. Stady in Room 162 after school.

Spanish National Honor Society (All Students)

Spanish National Honor Society Members-- our yearbook photo will be taken on Tuesday, October 14th at 2:50 in the gym. Be on time, we can't wait for you.

SADD (All Students)

The next meeting of Students Against Destructive Decisions, also known as SADD Club will take place on TUESDAY October 14th at 2:00 PM in the library classroom. The yearbook picture will be taken at the end of the meeting.

Attention Seniors - The Minias Family Scholarship applications are now available in the House 3 office. This is a $2,500 scholarship awarded to an Orchard Park High School senior who best exemplifies strong ambition, work ethic and involvement in the Orchard Park High School Community. Deadline is February 15, 2015. See Mrs. Linder with questions.

Physicals (Sports)

The district doctor will be at the High School Tuesday, October 14th from 2:00 - 2:45 p.m. for physicals. Please come to the Health Office right after school. If you are unsure if your physical is up -to-date in order to play a winter sport, please see the nurse.

Yearbook (Seniors)

Attention Seniors: The deadline for senior quote submission has been extended to Wednesday, October 15th due to technical difficulties. The online form is now back up and running. See Mrs. Sall in Room 363 with any questions.
