Guidance (All Students)

Juniors and Seniors: there will be a college fair in the Commons on Wednesday, 9/28 from 8:30am-9:30am. Admissions representatives from the WNY area will be available to meet with you to discuss majors, athletics, housing opportunities, tuition, financial aid, clubs, and how to apply. Report to your 2nd and/or 3rd period class and ask your teacher for a pass to attend.

buddy club (All Students)

Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Sign-ups for Windom Buddy Club have begun. All materials are in the House 1 Office. Please sign up early to ensure your spot. Buddy Club is a great way to get invloved and to make a difference in an elementary student's life. See Mr. Behm with questions.

STEM Club (All Students)

Hey students! Are you interested in Aerospace, Aviation... and 'drones?' Well, we can help you with that! The STEM Club meets weekly on Thursday at 2:00pm in Room 115. If Science, Technology, Engineering or Math is your thing... come and join us as we apply these subject areas to design, build, and fly your dreams!

Varsity club (All Students)

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! The Orchard Park Athletics Booster Club is sponsoring a QUAKER NATION SHIRT and HAT sale. The hats and shirts will be available next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday after school in the PE foyer. This is a great way to get set for all homecoming activities, and spirit week. These items are also on sale at football games, and open house next week. Don't miss your chance to show your school spirit with new Quaker Nation Gear.

International club (All Students)

International club will having an organizational meeting on Wednesday, September 28 at 2:00 in rm 329. All are welcome to attend. Bring a friend and help plan all the exciting activities for the coming year.

Guidance (All Students)

The following colleges will be visiting today: Penn State University at 8:30am, John Carroll University at 9:30am, Michigan State University at 11:30am, Case Western Reserve University at 12:30. All college reps will meet in the House 2 conference room.

Girls Volleyball (Sports)

Come support the Girls Volleyball program at Chipotle on Milestrip road on Wednesday the 21st from 4:00-7:00. Simply tell the cashier you’re supporting the Orchard Park volleyball team to make sure that 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Orchard Park Girls Varsity Volleyball. The next girls volleyball game is Tuesday the 20th at 6:30 vs St Marys.

Community Education (All Students)

The next 5-hour Pre-Licensing Course will be held this coming Monday and Wednesday, September 26th and 28th. You must attend both evenings from 6:30-9:00pm. Please register at the Community Education office.

Senior Class (All Students)

The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, Oct. 1st from 8:00 - 11:00 p.m.. Be sure to get your Dance Ticket that will be sold in the Aud after school starting tomorrow,Thursday, Sept. 22nd, and Friday, Sept. 23rd, from 2:00- 3:00 They will also be sold the following Monday and Tuesday. Tickets are $20. Be sure to bring your school ID, cash, or a check made payable to the Class of 2107. See you there!

Girls Varsity Swimming/Diving (All Students)

Last night the Mighty Quaker Girls Swimming and Diving team defeated West Seneca West 146 to 40. The Quakers swept nearly every event. Olivia Sapio qualified for the state meet in the individual medley and back stroke and Carissa Jantzi won diving for the first time! The next home meet is next Tuesday. Don't miss the excitement!

Guidance (Seniors)

College representatives have started their fall visits to OPHS. Seniors wishing to get reminders in homeroom should go the school counseling page of the high school website and enter in their college list. Click on college visitations to submit your information and see the schedule of what colleges are coming to our high school.

Book Club (All Students)

The First meeting of Book Club will be Thursday September 29th after school in the library. All are welcome, snacks will be provided! See Mrs. DiLucente for more information.

The first meeting of the OP GSA Club will be after school in the library on Wednesday September 21st. All are welcome!

PULSE Literary Magazine (All Students)

Ithaca College will be hosting an information session for interested students and parents on Sunday, September 25th at 2pm at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott. soccer (Sports)

Yesterday, the girls JV Soccer team improved it's record to 9 and 0 by defeating frontier 2 to 0. The defense, led by goaltender Rebecca Roman posted it's 8th shut out of the season!! Way to go team.
