Guidance (All Students)

Attention Student-Athletes: NCAA Night is Thursday, October 20th at 7:00pm in the auditorium. It is a great opportunity to learn about the process of becoming a Division I or Division II collegiate athlete. We will have a guest speaker from UB to provide information on registering with NCAA, the recruitment process, athletic scholarships, and much more. Please plan on attending and see Mr. Behm with questions.

Varsity Golf Team (All Students)

Congratulations to our Varsity Golf Team who was crowned the 2016 ECIC Boy's Golf League Champions on Monday, October 18th at Sheridan Park Golf Course. This is our 4th consecutive league title, and 9th in school history. The only other school in ECIC history to win 4 titles in a row is Clarence between 2004 and 2007. Congrats to our seniors, who have NEVER been defeated in ECIC play since their Freshman year.

Mock Trial (All Students)

Attention all Mock Trial team Members and those interested in Mock Trial. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday October 25th at 2pm in room #127.

STAP Comm (All Students)

STAP Comm has 20 tickets available on a first come first served basis for the UB Distinguished Speaker series featuring Randi Zuckerberg. The event will be at UB at 8:00 on Wednesday, October 26. Students may request up to 2 tickets in room 163.

Guidance (All Students)

The following colleges will be visiting today: West Virginia University at 10:30am, Canisius College at 11:30am, and SUNY Geneseo at 12:30pm. All college reps will meet with students in the House 2 Conference Room.

buddy club (All Students)

Attention Windom Buddy Club members: Wednesday, the 19th, is our first session at Windom. The bus will be available at 3:00 on the Freeman side. If you drive, please be at Windom by 3:15. See Mr. Behm if you can not attend.

Athletics (All Students)

Admission for everyone is $5.00 for all home Section VI playoff football games.

Science Club (All Students)

Attention all students! Want to see a laser in action? Want to learn about how lasers are used in medicine? Everyone is invited to the first science club speaker. Dr. Jeffrey Dolgos will speak about lasers on Wednesday October 19th after school in Room 160. All students are welcome. See Mrs. Collins in Room 160 with any questions.

SADD (All Students)

Attention all faculty, staff and students. The COATS For Kids Collection Drive is underway at OPHS. Please consider donating any gently used coats, hats, gloves, snowpants or boots in any size. Colvin Cleaners will dry clean all donated garments and make them available to individuals in the community to help them stay warm this winter. A collection bin is located in the Baker Foyer. Attention all Student Wellness and Role Model Club Members. If you are interested in becoming an officer for the club, please pick up an application in the House 2 office by Thursday October 20th. Please see Mrs. Wolf in House 2 if you have any questions.

Wrestling (Sports)

Attention all students that are interested in wrestling this season. There will be an informational meeting for joining the team on Wednesday, October 19th at 2 pm in room 225. We will talk about team expectations and requirements for joining. Be there if you think that you are tough enough.

Guidance (All Students)

There will be a recruiter from the Army in the commons during all lunch periods on October 20th. You can talk to him during your lunch period if you are interested and you can see your counselor if you have any questions.

varsity club (All Students)

Attention Varsity Club Members: Our next meeting is Wednesday October 19th. This is a very important meeting. We need everyone to attend. Plan to meet at 2p.m. in the auto shop room right after school. Please plan for a 30 minute meeting. Thank you.

Girls Basketball (All Students)

Attention all girls interested in playing JV or Varsity Girls Basketball. There will be a meeting on Wednesday October 19th at 2pm in room #127.

Student Services (Seniors)

SUNY is offering two Financial Aid Days to assist students and their families in applying for financial aid and completing the FAFSA. These days are typically held in late winter, but with the availability of the FAFSA on October 1 this year, the programs have been moved to the fall. This year, the dates are October 15 and November 12. These workshops are offered free of charge and are available at 41 locations throughout New York State to any student needing assistance with

Guidance (Seniors)

Attention Seniors - The Scott Krueger Memorial Scholarship applications are now available in the House 1 office. This is a 40,000 dollar scholarship to those students that qualify. See Mrs. Linder with questions. Deadline is November 14, 2016.

Varsity Club (All Students)

Attention all students: Orchard Park High School Jackets are now for sale!! Show your school spirit by purchasing a school jacket. These are not just for Varsity Athletes, they are for all students. If you are interested, pick up an order form in the bookstore. There is also a sample jacket for you to check out, and try on if necessary. All orders with payment are due by November 4th! Indoor Track (Sports)

Attention any students interested in participating in Coed Indoor Track. There will be a brief informational meeting Tuesday the 18th after school at 2:00. Meet in the PE foyer. If you can't make the meeting see Mr Tundo.

History Club (All Students)

Attention all Orchard Park Students. let your voice be heard this election year. The Orchard Park history Club will be conducting a Mock Presidential Election on Friday November 4th. All students will be able to vote during their lunch periods and after school in the cafeteria. Please bring student ID to the voting booths on Friday November 4th and cast your ballot.

Medical Career Interest Group (All Students)

Attention: Do you want to become a doctor? How about a dentist, nurse or physician’s assistant? If you do, then the Medical Career Interest Group is for you.
