Every year, two student leaders from each state and the District of Columbia are selected to participate in an all expenses paid government leadership program in Washington, DC from March 3-10, 2018. The students engage in a series of seminars and briefings with Senators and members of the House of Representatives, and meet with various government officials. STAP Comm is looking for one Freshman to serve as a Class Liaison. This student will have varying responsibilities in the student government, but generally will serve to work with both their Class Officers and the STAP Comm officers. The School Counseling Department is sponsoring a series of monthly workshops on topics related to the college admissions process. Come to the Commons on Thursday, September 21st at 2:00pm for the first workshop of the year on College Essay Writing. This workshop is geared towards seniors currently working on their college essays however all students are welcome to attend.
