Attention Seniors! The Scott Krueger Memorial Scholarship applications are now available in the House 1 office. This is a 40,000 dollar scholarship given to 2 Orchard Park High School Seniors. Deadline is November 13th. See Mrs. Linder in House 3 with any further questions.
Admissions representatives and alumni from Penn State University will be holding a reception for all students and their families on Monday October 16th at 6:30 pm at the Hyatt Place in Snyder. Come out and learn about all the benefits of being a Nittany Lion, including nationally ranked majors, beautiful campuses, study abroad opportunities, and over 1,200 clubs and organizations. The following colleges will be visiting today: Mercyhurst at 9:30am, Gannon University at 10:30am, University of Rochester at 12:30pm, and the College of Wooster at 1:30pm. The University of Rochester rep will meet with students in the Media center, all other visits will take place in the House 2 conference room.

Attention Harry Potter Fans: The Wizarding World OPHS Book Club is starting to reread Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire this week. SUNY is offering two Financial Aid Days to assist students and their families in applying for financial aid and completing the FAFSA. This year, the dates are October 14 and November 18. These workshops are free of charge and open to all prospective college students and their families. There will be a Service Academy night for students interested in the US Military, Naval, Air Force, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine Academies, as well as ROTC programs on Monday, October 16th at 6 PM at Williamsville South High School.
