OP Impact (All Students)

Attention all students. If you would like to relax and unwind as we begin the last full month of school, please consider attending an After school Yoga class on Tuesday May 1st in the Aux Gym with Mrs. Gernold as our instructor. It can also be counted as a gym make up if needed. We hope to see you there. Please see Mrs. Grossman or Mrs. Stasio if you have any questions.

Student Wellness (All Students)

Attention student wellness and DARE Role Models. There will be a meeting with the DARE Officer on Monday May 7th at 2:00 PM in the LMC to sign up and prepare for the presentations at the elementary schools in Mid May. Schedules of the times and dates Role Models are needed can be picked up in the House 2 Office and sign up will take place at the meeting. Please see Mrs. Wolf in House 2 if you have any questions.

ACT Exam (All Students)

There will be an ACT exam administered at OPHS on Saturday morning, June 9. You must register online at ACT.org by Friday, May 4 in order to take this exam. Please see Mrs. Goff in room 164 with any questions.

30 Day Kindness Challenge (All Students)

My name is Mrs. Farrell and I will be announcing today’s challenge. The theme for this week is gratitude. Building on yesterday’s challenge of saying thank you to the staff here at OPHS, today’s challenge is to have a PMA (positive mental attitude). Practice looking for the good in others and in different situations you find yourself in throughout the day. Refrain from complaining, blaming or being critical. Book Club (All Students)

Book club will meet Thursday after school in the library to discuss plans for Teen Book Festival. Bring a white t-shirt to decorate if you would like to make a shirt for our trip.

Senior class (Seniors)

Seniors, are you interested in helping put on the Baccalaureate (pronounced: back-a-lor-e-ate) Service this year? This is a non-denominational church service put on by seniors for seniors. There is an informational meeting this Friday at 2 in Mr Norv's room. All are welcome.
