SAT REGIS (late) (Seniors)

Attention Juniors and Seniors: If you are taking the SAT on October 6th, the deadline for late registration is Sept. 25th. You must log on to sat.collegeboard.org to register. See Mrs. Feeley with any questions.

School Counselors (Seniors)

Attention Seniors: The 2019 Scholarships for Academic Excellence, offered by New York State, will be awarded to ten students at OPHS. Scholarships of $1,500 or $500 will be given based on regents exam scores. A formula provided by New York State will be used to determine eligibility. If you qualify for a scholarship, you will be notified by either Mr. Behm or Mrs. Stahl.

AP Exams (All Students)

All AP students and those challenging an AP Exam must be registered in your class roster by Monday Oct 1. You must be in the system in order for your exams to be ordered. Late fees will be charged for changes after Nov. 15. See Mrs. Goff in room 164 with any questions.

Buddy Club (All Students)

Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Sign-ups for Windom Buddy Club have begun. All materials are in the House 1 Office. Please sign up early to ensure your spot. Buddy Club is a great way to get involved and to make a difference in an elementary student's life. See Mr. Behm with questions.

Senior Class (All Students)

The Homecoming Dance is this Saturday, the 29th, from 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. The last day to buy tickets is this Wednesday, the 26th. Be sure to buy your Dance Ticket online through the High School website. Tickets will also be sold in the Aud after school starting tomorrow, Tuesday, the 25th, and Wednesday, the 26th from 2:00- 3:00 Tickets are $20, payable by cash or check made out to OPHS -Class of 2108. You will need your school I.D. to buy a ticket, and this year,

Math Club (All Students)

Math Club will be holding its first meeting on Wednesday, September 26th after school in room 230 . We will be electing officers and brainstorming ideas for the year. See Mr. Dena or Mr. Norvilitis with any questions. Keep Calm and Math On!

School Counselors (All Students)

Attention junior and senior class officers: The United States Senate Youth Award Scholarship provides students with an opportunity to attend a week-long government leadership program from March 2-9, 2019 in Washington DC. Students engage in a series of seminars and briefings with members of the US Government. Each student will also receive a one-time $10,000 college scholarship. In order to be considered for the program, you must be nominated by the building principal. Please see

ACT Testing (All Students)

There will be an ACT exam administered at OPHS on Saturday, October 27. Students must register online at act.org by September 28. We recommend that all students take the ACT exam with writing. See Mrs. Goff in room 164 with any questions.

Guidance (All Students)

Juniors and Seniors: there will be a college fair in the Commons on Tuesday, 9/25 from 8:30am-9:30am. Admissions representatives from the WNY area will be available to meet with you to discuss majors, athletics, housing opportunities, tuition, financial aid, clubs, and how to apply. Report to your 2nd and/or 3rd period class and ask your teacher for a pass to attend.

ecology club (All Students)

Ecology Club will hold its 1st meeting of the year THIS TUESDAY Sept. 25 at 2 in room 165. All interested dtudents are invited to come elect officers, plan hikes and suggest service projects. Se Mr. VanDerwater, Jason Hanania or Trinity Tartaro.
