Seal of Biliteracy (Seniors)

Attention AP World Languages students interested in earning the Seal of Biliteracy, there is a meeting in room 325 today at 2 p.m. Please see Mrs. Connors or Mrs. Cartwright with any questions.

Varsity Golf Team (All Students)

Congratulations to our Varsity Boys Golf Team. OP swept ECIC's and claimed our school's 11th Championship Title, 6th since 2013. OP upset the higher ranked Williamsville East Varsity Golf Team. Freshman Charlie Fischer birdied the last 4 of 6 holes to win the individual title in a sudden victory playoff. Charlie shot 71, one under par. Senior Jackson Roskow, finished 5th shooting a 75. OP will advance as a team in the Spring to contend for the Section VI Championship title.

International club (All Students)

International club will be hosting a Hibachi lunch at Dao on Wednesday, October 23rd, from 3:00-4:30. All are welcome. See Mrs. Montesano any time in room 329 for a permission slip and a menu.

The following college will be visiting the high school tomorrow: Case Western Reserve University at 1:30pm. All visits will take place in the House 2 conference room. Please be sure to get a signed pass from the class you will be missing before heading to the visit.

Are you interested in joining the girls or boys varsity bowling team? Come to the mandatory meeting in room 154 on Thursday, October 17th at 2 pm.. No Experience necessary. See Mr. Biondo for details.

Attention all students: The annual High School Varsity Jacket sale is here! If you are interested in ordering a high school varsity jacket, you can pick up an order form on the table in the Phys. Ed Foyer. You must place your order by Friday October 25th. There are no exceptions on the deadline. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Gibson.

Guidance (All Students)

Attention Student-Athletes: NCAA Night is Thursday, October 17th at 7:00pm in the auditorium. It is a great opportunity to learn about the process of becoming a Division I or Division II collegiate athlete. We will have a guest speaker from UB to provide information on registering with NCAA, the recruitment process, athletic scholarships, and much more. Please plan on attending and see Mr. Behm with questions.

class of 2022 (Sophomores)

Sophomore class homeroom reps there is a meeting Wednesday Oct. 16 to plan a halloween costume contest in room 256 at 2pm. It will be SPOOKTACULAR!

Guidance (Seniors)

Attention Seniors! Scott Krueger Memorial Scholarship applications are now available. This is a 40,000 thousand dollar scholarship. Applicants must have a 90 or higher GPA, have 4 years of science and math, and have participated in a school sport for at least one full season. Further information and application can be found in House 1. See Mrs. Linder with questions. Deadline is November 8th.

Guidance (Seniors)

Attention Seniors, New York State offers the Academic Excellence Scholarship. Qualification for this scholarship is based on meeting certain score requirements on Regents Exams. If you are eligible, you will be notified by the School Counseling Department. Students must attend a college or university in New York State to be eligible for the award.
