DARE Rolemodels (All Students)

The Orchard Park Police Department's D.A.R.E. Program is looking for responsible, involved and scholastically motivated JUNIORS and SENIORS to become D.A.R.E. Rolemodels. Once selected, these students will speak to 5th graders in area elementary schools about what to expect in Middle and High School, and how they have made good decisions to be drug free and avoid violence. All interested students are required to attend a brief MANDATORY meeting on December 3rd at 2:00 PM in Media 3. Pl

Girls Swim (All Students)

This weekend, the girls swim team of Amanda Ernst, Olivia Sapio, Katrina Wardner, and Andrea Ernst and alternate Megan Filipski placed 5th in the state in both the 200 Free Relay and the 400 Free Relay. Andrea also took 7th in the 200 Free and Olivia took 21st in the 200 IM. Morgan Wellenzohn took 3rd in the state in diving while setting school records for 6 and 11 dives. house 2 (All Students)

The deadline to submit artwork for the curriculum handbook cover contest is Wednesday, November 27. The winning entry will receive a $50 prize from STAP-Comm. All entries should be submitted to House 2 by 3:00 on Wednesday.

SADD (All Students)

Attention all students, faculty and staff. Today is the day that SADD Club officially kicks off its Annual SADD SOCKS Collection Drive. New Socks of all sizes are needed, and hats, scarves and mittens are also welcome. Collection bags can be found in all homerooms and in each of the House Offices. Please consider donating so that others may stay warm this winter.

NHS (Seniors)

Attention National Honor Society Members There is an important meeting at 2:00 on December 4th... wednesday in the media 2 classroom. If you want a charity project to be considered, get the info (all the info) to an officer asap. We will make our decision at this meeting.

Boys and Girls Bowling (Sports)

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Varsity Bowling teams as they both came home champions in class 'A' in the Vestal Thanksgiving Bowling Tournament in Vestal NY. The Boys Finished First overall classes as Colin Herr and Hayden Brock led with 672 and 669 sets respectively. Those scores were good for 3rd and 4th over-all among individual male bowlers. The Girls finished 2nd overall as Co-captain Kaitlyn Kelly led with a 611 set good for 3rd over-all among all female individual bowlers. C

NHS (Seniors)

Attention NHS members. There is a meeting on December 4th at 2:00 in the classroom area of Media 2. We will be deciding on the service project for the year.

Guidance (All Students)

Today an admissions representative from Adelphi University will meet with students in the House 2 Office at 8:30. If interested obtain a pass from the class you would be missing.
