STEM Club (All Students)

Hey students! Are you interested in Aerospace, Aviation... and 'drones?' Well, we can help you with that! The STEM Club meets weekly on Thursday at 2:00pm in Room 115. If Science, Technology, Engineering or Math is your thing... come and join us as we apply these subject areas to design, build, and fly your dreams!

intramurals (All Students)

This is the first week of intramural activities. The weight room is open every day. Football is offered every Tuesday and Thursday. also, with the exception of this Wed. , walking will be every Wednesday, meeting outside of room 257. Please check the bulletin board in the P.E. foyer or see Mrs. Callahan for information.

PULSE Literary Magazine (All Students)

PULSE Literary Magazine will be holding an INFORMATIONAL MEETING on Wednesday, September 21st. Anyone interested in the arts is welcome to attend and to get involved with PULSE for this school year. Any questions? See Mr Perrelli, Mrs DiLucente, or Shawn Steinig.

Library (All Students)

The library will be hosting a grand reopening party to celebrate our new fiction section. Come down to the library Thursday after school to check out our new look and enjoy snacks and prizes. See you then!

Ithaca College will be hosting an information session for interested students and parents on Sunday, September 25th at 2pm at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott. Students applying to Ithaca are encouraged to attend as this is a great way to demonstrate your interest in their institution. Register online at the Visit Ithaca page of the Ithaca College website.

Ceramics class (All Students)

To all students who took Ceramics with Ms. Catanzaro last year...you may stop by room 152, before September 22, to pick up any of your final projects from last year.

ACT Coordinator (All Students)

There will be an ACT test administered at OPHS on October 22. The "no late fee" registration deadline for this test is Friday, Sept 16. Interested students must register online at www.actstudent.org. We recommend taking the ACT with writing. See Mrs. Goff in room 164 with questions.

The following colleges will be visiting today: Syracuse University at 8:30am. All college reps will meet in the House 2 conference room.

Powderpuff (Seniors)

Attention all SENIOR Powderpuff players: Senior Powderpuff practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting on Thursday, September 15 at 2PM on the grass by the Freeman Lot. This is the grassy area between the houses and the Freeman parking lot. You must attend at least 4 of the 5 practices or you will not be allowed on the turf.

Destination Imagination (Co-Curricular)

There will be an organizational meeting of Destination Imagination next Tuesday after school in Room 261. If you have already formed a team or just want to find out more, stop by and see what it's about. See Mrs. Baker in Room 261 with questions.
