Guidance (All Students)

A recruiter from the Navy will be here on Wednesday, November 13th at noon to meet with students interested in the Navy ROTC. If you are interested, please visit Mrs. See in the House 3 office to let her know that you plan on attending by Wednesday, November 13th at 8:30 AM.

Counselors (Sophomores)

Do you learn better by doing? Are you thinking of exciting hands-on careers? Have you considered a career and technical education, while still completing your requirements at OP? All interested Sophomores are welcome to attend a presentation from the Ormsby Center in the CAFE during the Assembly on November 14th! See your counselor for more information.

STAP Comm (All Students)

During lunch periods, FOUR Random days between November 4th - November 15th, students using reusable lunch boxes will be given a raffle ticket to fill out and submit. FIVE winners will be drawn on November 20th to win prizes. Help make OPHS a more environmentally friendly place! Any questions see Mrs. Rominger (Room 163) or Mr. Bove (House 2)

science club (All Students)

Attention all students. Eggert Road Elementary School is looking for high school student volunteers to help at their Science Night. You’ll help kids do science activities. It will be on Thurs. November 14th from 5:45 until 8:00 pm. There is a sign-up sheet outside of Room 160. Please sign up as soon as possible. You can get sheets signed for volunteer hours or even senior hours. See Mrs. Collins in Room 160 with any questions.

STAP-Comm (All Students)

Interested in supporting Roswell? STAP-Comm is adopting a family affected by cancer for the holidays. Your homeroom can help by bringing in monetary donations or gifts. STAP-Comm members will be coming to homerooms on Nov 12, 13, 18, and 20 to collect donations or stop into HR 163 any day!

Guidance (All Students)

College Night for Underclass Students will take place on Thursday, November 21st at 7pm in the Commons. Students in grades 9 through 11 are encouraged to attend.

School Counselors (All Students)

The Buffalo Zoo is offering an 8 week Life Science Career Lab program, open to students ages 14-18. This selective program provides in-depth, hands-on experiences for those who have a serious interest in life science careers. Space is limited, and applications are available in the House 1 office. The deadline for applications is November 25, 2019.

SHF (Seniors)

Attention all French Honor Society Members: We have an important meeting today after school in room 328. Please see Mrs. Holtermann with any questions or concerns.

The Voice (Co-Curricular)

Attention all students! The next meeting for the student news source The Voice will be TODAY, November 13, 2019 after school in room 316. We will be discussing ideas for upcoming articles.
