Good Morning Water Lovers. The pool will now be open after school on Wednesdays from 2-3. Come down and make up a Phys. Ed. class or swim for exercise.See Mrs. Callahan for further information.

Book Club (All Students)

Attention Harry Potter Fans: The Wizarding World OPHS Book Club is starting to reread Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire this week. If you're interested in joining Twitter discussion check out @wwbookclub or pottermore.com. Book club will be hosting a Harry Potter Trivia Contest after school on Thursday, November, 16th. Register your team of up to 4 people in the library. Talk to the librarians for more details.

Girls and Boys Bowling (All Students)

Attention anyone interested in trying out for the Boys or Girls Varsity Bowling Teams this fall. There will be an organizational and informational meeting Today, October 12th in room 154. See Mr. Biondo with any questions or if you cannot attend the meeting.

Mock Trial (All Students)

Attention all students interested in debate and law. The Orchard Park Mock Trial team will have our next meeting on Thursday October 19th at 2pm in room #127. See you there!

Girls Basketball (All Students)

Attention all girls interested in trying out for the JV and Varsity Girls basketball teams, we will have an informational meeting on Thursday October 12th at 2pm in room #127. Please see Mr. Janas with any questions.

Guidance (Seniors)

SUNY is offering two Financial Aid Days to assist students and their families in applying for financial aid and completing the FAFSA. This year, the dates are October 14 and November 18. These workshops are free of charge and open to all prospective college students and their families. Students can register at one of the 47 locations throughout New York State by going online at www.suny.edu/studentevents or by calling 1.800.342.3811.

There will be a Service Academy night for students interested in the US Military, Naval, Air Force, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine Academies, as well as ROTC programs on Monday, October 16th at 6 PM at Williamsville South High School. QMB (All Students)

Admissions representatives and alumni from Penn State University will be holding a reception for all students and their families on Monday October 16th at 6:30 pm at the Hyatt Place in Snyder. Come out and learn about all the benefits of being a Nittany Lion, including nationally ranked majors, beautiful campuses, study abroad opportunities, and over 1,200 clubs and organizations.
