Attention all students. Volunteers are needed to help out with science night at Eggert Road Elementary School. Volunteers are needed on Thursday, Feb. 15th from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at Eggert. Empire Girls State is a hands-on, week-long, educational workshop taking place at SUNY Brockport July 1st – July7th, 2018. The goal of the program is to help young women to better understand democratic ideals and to educate about government, politics, and Americanism. OPHS will select one junior girl to attend. Consideration is given to scholastic achievements, leadership, character, honesty and physical fitness. Attendees may become eligible for future college scholarships.
