PSAT Registration (All Students)

Attention Juniors and Sophomores: The PSAT will be held on Sat. October 13th from 7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.at OPHS. Registration will take place with Mrs. Feeley in room 252 before and after school until 2:30 pm ONLY from September 14th-19th. There will be NO late registrations. See Mrs. Feeley or your counselor with questions.

Model UN (All Students)

Attention to all students interested in debating, learning about and solving current events and world issues, and having fun with kids from other schools! Model UN will holding it first meeting in room 253 this Friday. See Mrs. Calder with any questions.

AP Exams (All Students)

All AP students and those challenging an AP Exam must be registered in your class roster by Monday Oct 1. You must be in the system in order for your exams to be ordered. Late fees will be charged for changes after Nov. 15. See Mrs. Goff in room 164 with any questions.

Buddy Club (All Students)

Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Sign-ups for Windom Buddy Club have begun. All materials are in the House 1 Office. Please sign up early to ensure your spot. Buddy Club is a great way to get involved and to make a difference in an elementary student's life. See Mr. Behm with questions.

Senior Class (All Students)

The Homecoming Dance is the last Saturday of the month, the 29th, from 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. Tickets are only $20 and can now be bought online through the High School website. Just click on the School Dances link under the Student Resources tab. Online tickets will be sold through next Wednesday, September 26th. Are you interested in STEM? Did you miss our first meeting, but still want to join? No problem!! STEM Club meets WEEKLY on Wednesday at 2:00 pm in Room 115. If you're interested in Aerospace, Aviation or Rocketry, this is the place to be. Stop by and see how YOU can be a part of the action!

Book Club (All Students)

Attention Book Lovers! The first meeting of Book Club is this Thursday after school in the library. All are welcome and snacks will be provided. See Mrs. DiLucente in the library for more info.

outreach (All Students)

Attention all students. Orchard Park Educational Outreach is a community service club. Members volunteer at various events throughout the year and help out at our annual spaghetti dinners to raise money for worthwhile causes. Members participate as much or as little as they are able to. New members are ALWAYS welcome. The first Outreach Club meeting will be after school TOMORROW (that's Thurs. Sept. 20) in Room 328. Girls Basketball (All Students)

Attention all Girls interested in playing JV or Varsity basketball. Coach Janas will have basketball clinics this Saturday September 15th and next Saturday September 22 from 12:30pm-2:30pm in the High School Gym. All are welcome!

The Voice (All Students)

science club (All Students)

Attention all students. The first Science Club meeting will be after school TODAY. All students are welcome to attend. We will discuss activities for the year, vote for some officers, and will have an egg-drop competition. PRIZES for the egg drop winners! Come join the fun in Room 160 after school TODAY. Guidance (All Students)

Juniors and Seniors: there will be a college fair in the Commons on Tuesday, 9/25 from 8:30am-9:30am. Admissions representatives from the WNY area will be available to meet with you to discuss majors, athletics, housing opportunities, tuition, financial aid, clubs, and how to apply. Report to your 2nd and/or 3rd period class and ask your teacher for a pass to attend.

intramurals (All Students)

Intramural walking starts this week! Walk around the town and have fun. Walking meets every Wed at 2 outside room 257. That is Mrs. Karalus's room.

The following colleges will be visiting OPHS on Thursday, September 20th: Case Western at 10:30, Mercyhurst at 11:30, University at Albany at 12:30 and The University of Chicago at 1:30. They will be meeting with students in the House 2 office. Please be sure to bring a pass from the class you will be missing if you would like to attend the visit.

Mock Trial (All Students)

Attention all students interested in Law and Debate. The Orchard Park Mock Trial Team will hold its first meeting on Wednesday September 19th at 2pm in room #127. If you have ever considered going into law or just like to argue this is the team for you. We compete against other schools across New York State on our quest for a championship. Be a part of the Mock Trial Team this year and learn about law and court room procedures. All are welcome.

Baseball (All Students)

Attention all boys in grades 10-12 who are trying out for baseball. We will have Sunday workouts over the next 4 weeks, weather depending. All are welcome.

Girls Swimming and Diving (All Students)

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Swimming and Diving team on a decisive 134 to 51 victory over Frontier. The team swam well especially Ella Mikulec who qualified for states in the backstroke! Great job ladies
