Attention Juniors and Seniors: The SAT will be given at OPHS on Sat. Nov.4th. You must register online at sat.collegeboard.org by October 5th to avoid a late fee. Any questions, see Mrs. Feeley.

House 1 Office (Other)

Attention all Underclass students: If you were absent on the picture days in September or are new to the high school and did not have your picture taken, underclass photo retakes will take place on Wednesday, October 10th from 7 AM to 3 PM on the stage in the auditorium. Informational flyers are available in your House office or if you have any questions you can see Mrs. Szczesniak in the House 1 office.

Guidance (All Students)

Are you interested in a Career and Technical Education field like Auto Body, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Health Careers, Animal Sciences, or Culinary? The Ormsby Educational Center offers these courses and many more. They are having an Open House on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 6-8PM and are located at 1010 Center Street, East Aurora, NY. Watch student demonstrations, meet instructors, and enjoy refreshments. Please see your School Counsel

Guidance (All Students)

The following colleges will be visiting OPHS Tuesday: Brockport State at 10:30 and D'Youville College at 11:30. All visits will take place in the House 2 conference room. Please be sure to bring a pass from the class you will be missing.

History Club (All Students)

Attention all History Club members and any students interested in joining. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday October 9th at 2pm in room #127. Our topic will be "Christopher Columbus- Hero or Villian????" Please bring your opinions and reserach on this topic to engage in a debate. See you Tuesday!

Model UN (All Students)

Are you interested in learning about other countries and solving world issues? It's not too late to join Model UN! Our next meeting will be held today after school in room 255! SEE YOU THERE!

School Counselors (All Students)

The Buffalo Zoo is offering a Life Science Career Lab starting in January 2019. This competitive program is designed to help students age 14-18 to explore and gain experience in various science careers. Students must be live in Erie County, show a demonstrated interest in science, and be able to commit to attending the program every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm during the months of January and February. OPEO (All Students)

Attention all OP Educational Outreach Members: Anyone who did not pick up the pre-sale tickets for our November 15th spaghetti dinner fundraiser at our meeting yesterday should do so today. They are available from Mrs. Holtermann in room 328. Also anyone with a day of service filed-trip permission slip should also turn that in also in room 328 ASAP.

Quaker Marching Band (All Students)

Good luck to the Quaker Marching Band as they travel to Webster N.Y. on Saturday to compete at the Webster High School Band Competition.
