Attention all students. Ellicott Road Elementary School is looking for high school student volunteers to help at their Science Night. It is TONIGHT from 5:30 until 8:00 pm. There is a sign-up sheet outside of Room 160, but you may volunteer even if you have not signed up. Students can get service hours for helping out. See Mrs. Collins in Room 160 with any questions.
My name is Mrs. Quinn and I will be announcing today’s challenge. The theme for this week is manners. Building on yesterday’s challenge of saying please and thank you, today’s challenge is to lend a helping hand. You can hold the door for someone, let someone go ahead of you in line, help someone pick something up if they drop it, or ask someone if they need help if they are struggling with their belongings.
