science club (All Students)

Attention all students. The first Science Club meeting will be after school on Wed. Sept. 18. All students are welcome to attend. We will discuss activities for the year, vote for officers, and will have a tower building competition. PRIZES for the tower winners! Come join the fun in Room 160 after school on Wed Sept 18. See Mrs. Collins in Room 160 if you have any questions. Anyone interested in science can attend. New members ALWAYS welcome.

Europe Trip (Freshmen)

Attention Freshmen and Sophomores: If you are interested in travelling to Europe in the summer of 2021, please consider attending tonight's informational meeting at 6:30 pm in the High School Library. Please see Mrs. Holtermann, Mr. Neveu, or Mrs. Rominger with any questions.

Senior Class (All Students)

The Homecoming Dance is the last Saturday of this month, the 28th, from 7:30 - 10:30 p.m. Tickets are only $20 and can now be bought online through the High School website. Just go to the Student Resources tab and click on the School Dances link. Online tickets will be sold through next Tuesday, September 24th. Your school I.D. will be your ticket. See you there!

pep club (All Students)

Powder puff tickets will be sold in the quaker corner store before and after school. Also people will be selling them during lunch periods during homecoming week. $5 now, $8 at the gate, supplies are limited so buy them today! Question see Mr. Graffeo or Mr. Botticelli

Guidance (Seniors)

Visits from college representatives to OPHS are underway. Seniors-don't be left out! Log into your SCOIR account to see which colleges are coming and to RSVP. You will receive a pass in homeroom which you must fill out completely and must be signed by the teacher of the class you will miss.

Model UN (All Students)

Model United Nations will have our first meeting on Friday, September 20 at 2 pm in room 255. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Calder in room 255.

DECA (All Students)

Higha kids! Craving some Banana Split Mini Melts? Want to spice it up with some flamin’ hot cheetos? Cool it off with some Glacier Freeze Gatorade? Top it off with some top notch Quaker apparel and essential school supplies? Well then, head on over to the Quaker Corner! Located in the Commons, we have all of your daily necessities. We’d be happy to have you as a customer! Open after school until 2:30. Note: Those who have signed up to work can locate the schedule out

GSA (All Students)

Attention all students - the first meeting of the GSA will take place this Wednesday, September 18th, after school in the library. All are welcome! See Mrs. DiLucente in the library for more information.

Buddy Club (All Students)

Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Sign-ups for Windom Buddy Club have begun. All materials are in the House 1 Office. Please sign up early to ensure your spot. Buddy Club is a great way to get involved and to make a difference in an elementary student's life. See Mr. Behm with questions.

Senior Powderpuff (Other)

Attention all Senior Powderpuff girls. Practices will be held Tuesday and Wednesday this week from 2 to 3 PM on the soccer field.

Guidance (All Students)

The following colleges will be visiting the high school on Thursday: Albany School of Pharmacy at 8:30, Hartwick College at 10:30, SUNY College at Plattsburgh at 11:30, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at 12:30 and Xavier University at 1:30. All visits will take place in the House 2 office. Please be sure to get a pass from the teacher who's class you will be missing.

The Voice (All Students)

Attention all students interested in writing or taking photos for the Voice, the online student news source! Our first club meeting of the year will be TODAY, Wednesday, September 18, 2019 after school in room 316. All are welcome. Any questions, please see Editor-in-Chief Abbey Black or Mrs. Williams in room 316. See you there!

Art Club (All Students)

If you are interested in joining Art Club - the first meeting will be held in room 152, at 2:00 on Thursday, September 26.

Book Club (All Students)

The first meeting for Book Club is Thursday, September 19th after school in the library. Come get some snacks and get involved in our activities.

Outreach (All Students)

Orchard Park Educational Outreach is the OPHS community service club. We do volunteer projects and activities. Members participate as much or as little as they are able to. The first Outreach Club meeting will be after school on Thurs. September 19 in Room 160. All students are welcome to attend. New members are always welcome. We will introduce the officers, discuss activities for the year, get your input, and have everyone join our google classroom (so bring your chromebook).

Counselors (Guidance)

Juniors & Seniors - Don't miss the opportunity to visit with over 20 local colleges and universities on Tuesday, September 24th from 8:30-9:30 AM in the OPHS Commons. Check out the fliers in HR or in the House Offices to see who's coming!

Girls Swimming (All Students)

Congrats to the mighty Quaker Girls Varsity swim team who beat Will North 129 to 51. Lots of great swims including Ella Mikulec who made states in the 100 backstroke. They face Clarence on Friday. Great job team!
