Student Wellness (Other)

Attention Student Wellness Concession Stand Volunteers. The Meeting for Working the Concession has been changed to TUESDAY, September 24th and will be held in the LMC classroom on the second floor. Please see Mrs. Wolf in house 2 if you cannot attend the meeting but would like to participate.

Guidance (Seniors)

This is a reminder that seniors need to submit their application for OP Pride through high school counseling page on the opschools.org website by November 1st. Please see Mrs. See in house 3 if you have any questions.

science club (All Students)

All students are invited to the next science club meeting on Wednesday Sept. 25 after school in Room 160. We will enter a STEM contest sponsored by a local OP company. You’ll design a robotic arm for a Mars rover. Come with a team (2-4 students) or come by yourself and join a team. The winning team spends a day with engineers and gets to 3D print their winning design. Details about the contest are online. See Mrs. Collins in Room 160 with questions.

DECA (All Students)

The next DECA meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 25 at 2pm in Room 121. See you there!

PULSE (All Students)

Hey poets, story writers, artists, photographers, and other crafty people: PULSE is looking for you. PULSE is the OPHS Literary Magazine, and we need your help to publish a great magazine this year. Come to our first meeting this Thursday, Sept. 26, after school in room 313. See Ms. Perillo if you have any questions.

STEM / Model Rocketry (All Students)

The STEM / Model rocketry club will be having our first meeting of the year on Wednesday 9/25 at 2 pm in Room 161. If you like to fly drones, launch rockets, and STEM it up, come join us.

History Club (All Students)

Attention all students interested in joining the Orchard Park History Club. Our next meeting will be Thursday September 26th at 2pm in room #127. We will be selecting officers and finishing our charter application process. See Mr. Janas with any questions.

Mock Trial (All Students)

Attention all students interested in the Orchard Park Mock Trial Team. We are still accepting new members for this years competition. Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday September 24th at 2pm in room #127. We will be selecting officers and finishing our charter application process

Guidance (All Students)

SUNY invites students and their families to attend SUNY Financial Aid Days. These programs are designed to answer questions and provide assistance regarding the financial aid application, types of aid available, and the award process. Available at more than 30 campuses, most locations provide computer access to complete the financial aid application on-site. Buffalo State will host this workshop on Saturday, November 9th. Register by visiting suny.edu/studentevents.

Senior Class (All Students)

The Homecoming Dance is this Saturday from 7:30 - 10:30 p.m. Today is the LAST day to buy your online ticket for $20 through the High School website. Just go to the Student Resources tab and click on the School Dances link. Your school I.D. will be your ticket. See you there!

pep club (All Students)

Powder puff tickets will be sold in the quaker corner store before and after school. Also people will be selling them during lunch periods during homecoming week. $5 now, $8 at the gate, supplies are limited so buy them today! Question see Mr. Graffeo or Mr. Botticelli

Senior Powderpuff (Other)

Attention all Senior Powderpuff girls. Practices this week will be Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 3 PM on the soccer field.

Guidance (All Students)

There will be a recruiter from the Air Force Reserves in the commons during all lunch periods on Tuesday, September 24th. You can talk to him during your lunch period if you are interested and you can see your counselor if you have any questions.

Art Club (All Students)

If you are interested in joining Art Club - the first meeting will be held in room 152, at 2:00 on Thursday, September 26.

Yearbook (Co-Curricular)

The first yearbook meeting of the year will be held on Wednesday, September 25th at 2pm in Room 162. All are welcome! See Mrs. Stady in Room 162 or Mrs. Sall in Room 363 with any questions.
