Outreach (All Students)

Attention all students! If you are interested in getting involved and helping the community through fun activities then Outreach is for you! The first Outreach meeting of the year will be held this Thursday, September 11 in room 362 starting at 2pm. There will be desserts after the meeting! All students are welcome to join! guidance (Seniors)

Attention Seniors - The PEO STAR scholarship is given to female seniors that exhibit excellence in leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, community service, and potential for future success. It is a one time 2,500 dollar scholarship. For consideration and further information please see Mrs. Linder in House 3. Deadline is September 17th.

Guidance (Seniors)

Attention Seniors - If the Academic Excellence Scholarship program is available this year Orchard Park will participate and will use the Regents test score option for the criteria. See Mrs. Linder for futher information. Information will be released as made available.

Drama Club (All Students)

Calling all actors and actresses! The auditions for this year's fall production of Frankenstein are going to be held this Thursday, September 11th from 2:45 to 6pm in room 319. You must secure an audition time slot on the list outside of room 319. Spots are filling up quickly, so don't wait! Please see Miss Marinaccio with any questions. See you at auditions!!

Yearbook (All Students)

Attention all students! The yearbook staff needs you! Are you a photographer? Writer? Artist? Good at organization? There is a place for everyone on the yearbook staff. Have a say in what your yearbook looks like. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 16th at 2pm in Room 162. See Mrs. Stady in Room 162 or Mrs. Sall in Room 363 with any questions.

Guidance (All Students)

Visits from college representatives will begin next week. Are you a senior getting ready to apply? Are you a junior just starting the college process? Meet with these admissions counselors and get your questions answered. A list of colleges visiting OPHS will be posted in your homeroom, on the guidance page of the school website, and on the wall in the cafeteria. Please note, in order to meet with college representatives, students must get a pass from the teacher of the class they

Community Education (All Students)

Attention all students interested in Fall Driver Education. There are still spots available. Please come to the Community Education Office for information on how to register.

Senior Class (All Students)

Homecoming tickets will be on sale from Tuesday, September 16 through Friday, September 19. You will need your 2014-2015 student ID and tickets can be purchased for $15. See Mrs. Connors or Mrs. Williams with any questions.

Attention students! Homecoming Guest Forms are now available at the desk in the Baker Foyer. You need to complete this form if you are bringing a guest that does not attend OPHS. See Mrs. Connors or Mrs. Williams with any questions.

Senior Class (Seniors)

Attention Seniors! Panoramic Picture forms will be collected until 2 p.m. today. You can drop them off to Mrs. Connors in room 325.

Model United Nations (All Students)

Attention all students, the Orchard Park Model United Nations team will be having its first meeting on Friday, September 12th at 2 PM in Room 253. All students are welcome. Any questions, see Ms. Gernold in Room 253.

Attention Seniors: The "Good Citizens" award is considering scholarship applicants. Students must embrace outstanding qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism in their school, home and community. Applicants are required to submit school activities information, brief explaination of service, future plans, letters of recommendation and a timed essay. Please see Mrs. Linder in House 3 by September 15th to be considered.

NHS (Seniors)

Attention all National Honor Society Members The dates for parent open house evenings are September 10 and 18. Please sign up to volunteer your time, as is expected, on the list posted outside Mrs Sullivan's office.

History Club (All Students)

Girls Swim (All Students)

Congratulations to the Girls Swimming and Diving team on their first win of the year in their firt meet of the year. They beat a tough Lockport team 115 - 70. The team swam well with some standout races by Katrina Wardner, Megan Lanser, Marissa Carrig, and Lexi Priz-bill-ski. Come watch them in action this Friday night at 6 as they take on perennial powerhouse Fairport.
