Attention Seniors - The PEO STAR scholarship is given to female seniors that exhibit excellence in leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, community service, and potential for future success. It is a one time 2,500 dollar scholarship. For consideration and further information please see Mrs. Linder in House 3. Deadline is September 17th.

Guidance (All Students)

Any student interested in attending college is encouraged to attend upcoming college fairs at UB, Daemen College and Hilbert Collge on September 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. Check the guidance page of the website for times and locations.

SADD (All Students)

Attention ALL students the FIRST meeting for Students Against Destructive Decisions and DARE Role Models will take place on TUESDAY, September 16th at 2:00 PM in the Library Classroom. Plans for the Powder Puff Concession Stand, and the Welcome Party will be discussed along with the new procedures for becoming a DARE Role Model. Students in all grade levels are invited to attend.

Attention Students - Applications for the Voice of Democracy patriotic Audio Essay Competition are now available in the House 3 office. Deadline is November 1, 2014.

Cancer Awareness Club (All Students)

Cancer Awareness Club will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, September 17th at 2 p.m. in Room 215. We will be discussing Homecoming activities. New members are welcome! Please see Miss Cornwall in Room 215 or Mrs. Quinn in Room 216 with any questions.

Book Club (All Students)

Attention Students: If you are interested in joining the Library's new Book Club come to our first meeting this Thursday after school in the library. If you like to read, this club is for you. All are welcome and snacks will be served. See you there!

Drama Club (Co-Curricular)

Attention Drama club members and all students interested in becoming a member of Drama club. There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday September 17th in the chorus room 143 at 2:00. We will be discussing some exciting plans for this year! See you there!

Stage Crew (Co-Curricular)

Attention Stage Crew members and all students interested in becoming a member of Stage Crew. We will be having our first meeting this Thursday September 18th in room 319 at 2:00. Please be prompt as there is a lot to discuss! See Miss Marinaccio with any questions!

SMILE Club (All Students)

GSA (All Students)

The first meeting of the Gay-Straight Alliance will take place on Wednesday, September 17 after school in room 317. See Mrs. Farrell with questions. All students are welcome to attend.

French Honor Society (All Students)

Enjoy a sweet treat while waiting to buy tour tickets for homecoming. The French Honor socoety will be having a bake sale during homecoming ticket sales this Thursday and Friday September 18th & 19th in the Baker Foyer. Stop by and bon appetit!

Yearbook (All Students)

Attention all students! The yearbook staff needs you! Are you a photographer? Writer? Artist? Good at organization? There is a place for everyone on the yearbook staff. Have a say in what your yearbook looks like. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 16th at 2pm in Room 162. See Mrs. Stady in Room 162 or Mrs. Sall in Room 363 with any questions.

guidance (Juniors)

Attention Juniors. Sign-ups for this year's PSAT are before school from Friday, September 12th through Friday, September 19th in the auditorium. You may also sign up after school on Friday the 12th and Monday the 15th ONLY. You must present a valid school ID along with $25 in order to sign up. Please see Mr. Behm with questions.

pep club (Seniors)

Attention Powder Puff Girls practices are 9/16 9/18, 9/22, 9/24, and 9/25. from 2:15-3:15. You must make 4 to participate.

Senior Class (All Students)

Homecoming ticket sales begin tomorrow. You will need your 2014-2015 student ID and tickets can be purchased for $15. See Mrs. Connors or Mrs. Williams with any questions.

Attention Seniors: The "Good Citizens" award is considering scholarship applicants. Students must embrace outstanding qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism in their school, home and community. Applicants are required to submit school activities information, brief explaination of service, future plans, letters of recommendation and a timed essay. Please see Mrs. Linder in House 3 by September 15th to be considered.

NHS (Seniors)

Attention all National Honor Society Members The dates for parent open house evenings are September 10 and 18. Please sign up to volunteer your time, as is expected, on the list posted outside Mrs Sullivan's office.

Guidance (All Students)

There will be a Yale Information Session on Septeber 18th at 7pm at Amherst High School.

History Club (All Students)

Attention all students interested in Political and Military History. The History Club will hold a meeting on Tuesday September 16th at 2pm in room 127. We will be planning the upcoming year and need your input. Please see Mr. Janas with any questions

Spanish National Honor Society (All Students)

Please know that the Spanish National Honor Society September meeting has been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. We will meet on Wednesday, October 22 in the Library Class Room at 2pm. Attendance will be taken.
