Guidance (All Students)

There will be a highly selective college information session held at the Millenium Hotel in Cheektowaga on Monday, October 6th at 7:30pm. The following schools will be represented: Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Rice University, and the University of Chicago. You must register ahead of time at www.exploringeducationalexcellence.org. There is a link under "dates to remember" on the guidance page of the high school website.

Guidance (All Students)

The following college representatives will be visiting today: Heidelberg University at 10:45 and University of Toronto at 1:15. Reps from St. John Fisher, Roberts Wesleyan and Lesley University visit tomorrow. All visits take place in the house 2 conference room.

Art Club (All Students)

Art Club will hold it's first meeting afterschool on Wednesday, October 1 in room 152. Art Club is open to all students. If you are unable to make the first meeting, stop by and see Mrs. Bond in room 152 for more information.

pep club (All Students)

IF your picture was taken at homecoming by Mr. Botticelli and you would like it. Stop by room 263 after school. Bring a flash drive.

Book Club (All Students)

The next meeting of the Book Club will be this Thursday, October 3rd after school in the library. We will be choosing our first book, come with ideas. All are welcome! Check the website or see Ms. Steinbruckner for more info.

Guidance (All Students)

Syracuse University is sponsoring a free overnight program for Junior and Senior girls who are interested in the field of information technology. The IT Girls program offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills and explore careers in this area. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Stahl in House 1 for application information.

International Club (All Students)

The International Club is back! Join us for our organizational meeting on Wednesday, October 8 at 2:00 in room 329. We will be planning our activities for the year. Please see Mrs. Montesano if you are interested and not able to attend.

guidance (Seniors)

Attention Seniors - The Minias Family Scholarship applications are now available in the House 3 office. This is a $2,500 scholarship awarded to an Orchard Park High School senior who best exemplifies strong ambition, work ethic and involvement in the Orchard Park High School Community. Deadline is February 15, 2015. See Mrs. Linder with questions.

Physicals (Sports)

The district doctor will be at the High School Tuesday, October 14th from 2:00 - 2:45 p.m. for physicals. Please come to the Health Office right after school. If you are unsure if your physical is up -to-date in order to play a winter sport, please see the nurse.

NHS (Seniors)

Attention all NHS members. The first meeting of the school year will be on October 1 at 2:00 in Media 2 back classroom area.

Guidance (All Students)

There will be an information night for students looking to be nominated to one of the United States Service Academies on Monday, October 6th at Clarence High School at 6:30 PM. Representatives from the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, the United States Military Academy West Point, the United States Merchant Marine Academy, as well as the Unites States Coast Guard will be on hand to deliver a brief synopsis of the nomination process, information abo

Girls Swimming (All Students)

Last night, your Girls Swimming and Diving team dismantled West Seneca West by a score of 105 to 70. Morgan Wellenzohn flirted with a new school record, missing by fewer than 2 points and Brenna Snyder turned in the swim of the evening in the 500 free. Great job ladies. Practice today at 2:45 sharp!
