With flu season around the corner and an ongoing Ebola outbreak, both vaccines and viruses have been in the news on a daily basis. All OPHS students, faculty, and staff are invited to learn more about vaccines and viruses at a special presentation this Thursday Oct. 30 at 2 pm in the auditorium. That’s when two students from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine will give a presentation about vaccines and immunity. Topics to be covered include how your immune system work

Attention ALL students who Drive to school. Students will not be able to park on campus due to the district vote on Tuesday, November 18. Please make arrangements ahead of time. Students who park on campus that day will lose their parking privileges for the remainder of the school year and receive a disciplinary referral.

The Orchard Park Garden Club is offering scholarships to students interested in attending environmental conservation camps during the summer. Further information and application can be found in House 3. Deadline is December 5, 2014.
Congratulations to the girls volleyball team as they defeated Lancaster in straight sets: 26-24, 26-24, 25-20. Olivia Jacobs and Riley Moll each had 11 kills. The girls play @ Clarence on Thursday Night for a chance to go to the Sectional Finals. Great Job!
