Guidance (All Students)

There will be a regional reception for students interested in DePaul University at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo at 7pm on Thursday, October 9th. Students and parents are encouraged to attend.

Varsity Golf Team (Sports)

For the 3rd straight year in a row, the Orchard Park Varsity Golf Team has been crowned the ECIC Large School South Champions. The golf team defeated Lancaster last night at Fox Valley CC with a team stroke average of 38.7 per player. Junior, Jack Devic was the match medalist shooting even par 36. The golf team's ECIC win streak record is now 24-0. Next up is the Individual Championship and Team Championship. Good Luck to our undefeated Golf Team!

Art Club (All Students)

Interested in making art, taking fieldtrips to local art events and working on community art projects? Then, come to Art Club this Wednesday, October 8th. We will meet afterschool in room 152. We will be electing officers and starting our first project.

Varsity Gymnastics (Sports)

The girls Varsity Gymnastics team came away with a 1st place win against Kenmore and Frontier on Friday. The team consists of 16 girls- with Haley Arthur, Carmen Braccio, Jordan Grey, Anna Major, Caitlyn McLaughlin and Emily Zimmerman from the High SChool. Please come out to support the Girls Varsity Gymnastics team today at 5:00 pm at Clarence High SChool.

Technology Club (All Students)

The Technology Club will meet in room 112 at 2:00 on Tuesday. We will be working on a robotic project. New students are welcome. See Mr. Kennedy with any questions.

Hockey (All Students)

Attention all girls trying out for the Girls' Varsity hockey team. School physicals are on Tuesday, October 14. All athletes must have a current school physical and their paperwork into the High School Health Office by Monday, October 20th in order to tryout. Tryouts will begin in November. Check the athletic website for first day tryout information.

Yearbook (Seniors)

Attention Seniors: Your senior quotes and senior I Wills must be submitted online by Friday, October 10th to be included in the yearbook. You should have received instructions for online submission in homeroom. If you need instructions or if you have any questions about the process, please see Mrs. Sall in Room 363 or Mrs. Stady in Room 162 after school.

Cheerleading (All Students)

Tryout meeting for winter Cheerleading season is Tuesday Oct. 7th at 7:00pm at Eggert Road Elementary.

Boys and Girls Bowling (Sports)

The Orchard Boys and Girls Varsity Bowling Teams Want YOU!!! There will be a mandatory informational and organizational meeting on Wednesday, October 8th in room 154 at 2:05 pm. See Mr. Biondo if you cannot attend the meeting!

Spanish National Honor Society (All Students)

Spanish National Honor Society Members-- our yearbook photo will be taken on Tuesday, October 14th at 2:50 in the gym. Be on time, we can't wait for you.

History Club (All Students)

Attention all students. The History club will be holding their first open forum discussion of the year on Thursday October 9th at 2pm in room #127. Out topic will be Gun Laws and your second amendment rights. Any student interested in debate and the history of gun laws should attend. Please see Mr. Janas with any questions or suggestions for upcoming discussions.

Guidance (Seniors)

Interested in attending John Carroll or Medaille College? Meet with representatives in the house 2 office today: John Carroll at 8:30 and Medaille at 1:00. Chatham University will be represented tomorrow.

International Club (All Students)

The International Club is back! Join us for our organizational meeting on Wednesday, October 8 at 2:00 in room 329. We will be planning our activities for the year. Please see Mrs. Montesano if you are interested and not able to attend.

guidance (Seniors)

Attention Seniors - The Minias Family Scholarship applications are now available in the House 3 office. This is a $2,500 scholarship awarded to an Orchard Park High School senior who best exemplifies strong ambition, work ethic and involvement in the Orchard Park High School Community. Deadline is February 15, 2015. See Mrs. Linder with questions.

Physicals (Sports)

The district doctor will be at the High School Tuesday, October 14th from 2:00 - 2:45 p.m. for physicals. Please come to the Health Office right after school. If you are unsure if your physical is up -to-date in order to play a winter sport, please see the nurse.

Destination Imagination (Co-Curricular)

Any students interested in organizing a Destination Imagination team are invited to the DI meeting after school tomorrow in Room 261. See Mrs. Baker for more information.
