Guidance (All Students)

There will be a highly selective college information session held at the Millenium Hotel in Cheektowaga on Monday, October 6th at 7:30pm. The following schools will be represented: Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Rice University, and the University of Chicago. You must register ahead of time at www.exploringeducationalexcellence.org. There is a link under "dates to remember" on the guidance page of the high school website.

Carnival (All Students)

The Homecoming Carnival will be held after the parade at the athletic field from, 10:30 am to 1 pm. All are welcome! There will be many activities, and the carnival is free.

Parade (All Students)

The Homecoming Parade will be on Saturday September 27th, from 10 to 10:30 am. The parade starts at the Middle school and features The Quaker marching band, Class Officers, attendance, homecoming king and queen and more.

Powder Puff (All Students)

The Powder Puff game will be held on the OPHS turf immediately after the Pep rally at 7:15 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the bookstore during lunch periods this week for $3 or $5 at the gate.

Pep Rally (All Students)

The OPHS Pep Rally is on Friday September 26 will be held in the Gym. All students must have a valid OPHS ID to gain admission.

glax (Sports)

If thee are any girls interested in playing winter lacrosse at Sahlens, there wll be an informational meeting Monday Sept.29 at 2:15 in the girls locker room. See Mrs. Callahan if you have any questions.

Drama Club (Co-Curricular)

Reminder to all Drama Club members purchasing a Drama t-shirt. Your $12 is due THIS FRIDAY sept 26th to Miss Marinaccio in room 319. No money, no t-shirt! See Miss M with questions. Thanks.

Pep Club (All Students)

Attention students. Powder Puff tickets will be sold before school, after school, and at all lunches AT THE BOOKSTORE. Tickets are $3 all week but increase to $5 on Friday. Get your tickets before they're gone!

History Club (All Students)

Attention all students interested in history and debate. The History club will hold our next meeting on Tuesday September 30th at 2pm in room 127. see Mr. Janas with any questions

Guidance (Seniors)

The following college representatives will be visiting today: Wagner College at 8:30, Ryerson University at 10:30 and Case Western Reserve at 11:30. All visits take place in the house 2 conference room. Duquesne visits tomorrow!

Outreach (All Students)

Attention all Outreach members or students wanting to join Outreach. Due to Homecoming, this week's meeting has been postponed and we will hold our next after school meeting on October 2nd. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Hafner in room 362 or any Outreach officer. See you October 2nd!

NHS (Seniors)

Attention all NHS members. The first meeting of the school year will be on October 1 at 2:00 in Media 2 back classroom area.

Pulse (All Students)

An organized meeting for Pulse: The Artbeat of Life will take place on Thursday, September 25th in room 352. If you wish to become an officer, critique staff, or if you have any questions about the club, please attend. See Mrs. Taglis or Mr. Perrelli for more information.

Band (All Students)

Please be sure cars are out of the Baker lot by 4:00 p.m. today. You may however park in the first three rows closest to Baker Rd. Remember this is for all Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during September and October only. Plan ahead especially if you are involved in an away game that day. Thank you!

Community Education (All Students)

The next 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Course is this coming Monday & Tuesday, September 29th and 30th. You must go both nights from 6:00-8:30. Register at the Community Education Office.
