The Varsity Golf Team finished their homecoming week with a decisive win against West Seneca East and West, 234 to 292. The Quakers are now 27-0 in ECIC regular season play. The medalist was Jack Devic, shooting an even par 36. Other standouts include Mitchell Smith, who fired a 37; Alex Prise, 38; and Nate MacDonald, 39. The Golf Team goes on the road next week with 3 away matches at TPC Hamburg, Harvest Hill and Brierwood Country Club.

Last night, your Mighty OP Girls Swimming and Diving team defeated Jamestown 131 to 54. Everyone swam well with Oliva Sapio making a state time in the 200 individual medley. The swim team is undefeated in ECIC 1 and has a 3 -1 overall record. Great job ladies!

Hey OPHS. The first meeting of the Gay-Straight Alliance will be held on Wednesday September 23 in room 353. This is a club that promotes understanding and acceptance of all people. This is not just a club for gay kids or students trying to figure out their gender identity; this is a club for people who are willing to stand up for a minority and create lasting friendships as we all share our stories and discuss issues that are relevant to our society today. We hope to see you there.
