Chris Collins' office will be hosting an information night for students looking to be nominated to one of the United States Service Academies this fall. Representatives from the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, the United States Military Academy West Point, the United States Merchant Marine Academy, as well as the Unites States Coast Guard will be on hand to deliver a brief synopsis of the nomination process, information about attending the academies

QMB (All Students)

Congratulations to all Quaker Marching Band members on a fine first competition performance at the Medina Fall Festival of Bands this past Saturday!!!! Keep up the good work!

National French Honor Society (All Students)

Attention all National French Honor Society Members: We will be having our first mandatory meeting of the year tomorrow, Tuesday, September 29th in room 328 at 2PM. Please see Mrs. Holtermann in room 328 with any questions.

varsity tennis (All Students)

Those Lady Quaker Tennis players did it again! They won the prestigious Pal-Mac Tournament this weekend at Palmyra-Macedon. It was a brilliant day highlighting our girls excellent play. Way to go!!!

PULSE (All Students)

There will be an informational Pulse Meeting this Tuesday, September 29th after school in the library. We will be planning Open Mics and workshops. Stop by to help be a part of Pulse. The artbeat of life.

Girls Soccer (All Students)

On Tuesday, September 29, the Girls Varsity Soccer team will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner. Dinner will be served from 4 to 8 in the Cafeteria. Adults cost $10, student tickets are $8. See any Varsity Soccer player for tickets, or stop by room 125.

Guidance (Seniors)

The New York State Education Department is once again offering Scholarships for Academic Excellence. There is no application required and we utilize a Regents Score criteria to determine eligibility. Scholarship recipients forfeit their award if they do not attend a college or university in New York state. Please see Mr. Behm or Mrs. Stahl in House 1 for more information.

International Club (All Students)

Attention all students! International club will be having an organizational meeting on Wednesday, September 30th at 2:00 in room 329. Please see Mrs. Montesano if you are interested but are unable to attend. Bring a friend!

Destination Imagination (Co-Curricular)

The organizational meeting of Destination Imagination will take place tomorrow after school in Room 261. We will elect officers and discuss team formation. See Mrs. Baker with questions.

Guidance (Seniors)

The following colleges will be represented today: Seton Hill at 8:30, Villa Maria at 10:30, Iona at 1:00. St. John's University and Daemen will be represented tomorrow.

Community Education (All Students)

The next 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Course will be held Monday, September 28th and Wednesday, September 30th from 6:00-8:30 pm. You must attend both evenings. Sign up at the Community Education Office.

Varsity club (Sports)

Attention Varsity Athletes- There is a Varsity club meeting on Tuesday september 29th in room 115 at 2 p.m. If you are interested in joining the club, or finding out more about it, plan to attend. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Gibson. Hope to see you there!

Math Club (All Students)

Ever wonder about the mysteries of the Fibonacci sequence? Or, the geometry behind virtual reality? Or, maybe you just love MATH and don't want to admit it. If so, please join the OP Math Club on Monday, September 28th at 2:00. Meetings are held in Mr. Dena's room, room 230. Be there or be a quadrilateral with equal sides and for right angles.

History Club (All Students)

Attention all History Club Members and any student who would like to join History Club. Our next meeting will be Thursday October 1st at 2pm in room #127. We will elect our officers and have our first discussion of the year on the Republican debates. We will also plan our first trip to the Jolls House. Hope to see you there!

Mock Trial (All Students)

Attention all students interested in law and debate. The Mock Trial Team will hold its next meeting on Wednesday September 30th at 2pm in room #127. If you did not attend the first meeting there is still time to join. Please see Mr. Janas with any questions.

There will be a Yale information session at Amherst High School on September 29th at 7:00pm. Students interested in applying to Yale should attend.

Attention Seniors: The deadline for submission of your senior quotes has been moved. More information about quote submission will be sent to your homeroom soon explaining how to vote. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Sall in Room 363 or Mrs. Stady in Room 162.
