Hey OPHS. The first meeting of the Gay-Straight Alliance will be held on Wednesday September 23 in room 353. This is a club that promotes understanding and acceptance of all people. This is not just a club for gay kids or students trying to figure out their gender identity; this is a club for people who are willing to stand up for a minority and create lasting friendships as we all share our stories and discuss issues that are relevant to our society today. The Varsity Golf Team moved to 4-0 defeating the Hamburg Bulldog's yesterday at 18 Mile Creek Golf Course. The medalist was OP's Mitchell Smith firing an even par 35. Grant Merkel followed with a 37; Alex Prise, 38; Jack Devic, Aidan Shaw and Zach Stebbins all shot 39's. The Quakers look to improve their win streak to 30-0 with matches versus West Seneca and Frontier today and tomorrow. Congratulations and Good Luck to our Quaker Golf Team!
